Collection: Warrior woman prints

In 2010, I started a series of female self portraits called "Warrior Women."

Through these self-portraits, I expressed the emotions and journey I was experiencing as a mother.

I felt that a certain fearlessness and individuality had been stripped away from my  life leaving me longing for more strength and courage. As I painted these intuitive Warrior Women, they emerged as wild, strong, and bold, with big features and bright colours.

They were a reflection of the strength I was seeking. I would meditate on each portrait, receiving a "download" of their story. Remarkably, buyers would often approach me, sharing that the painting's story resonated deeply with their own experiences.

Some women even cried, while men purchased these paintings as gifts for their wives. In time, I noticed a growing trend in the media, with many artists creating large paintings of women.

My Warrior Women series was ahead of its time, intuitively tapping into a collective desire for powerful female representation.
