Have you been wanting to switch off and just paint? Not sure how to unwind and let everything go ? Really need an art experience to indulge into without feeling like you need to be a proper and traditional artist ?
You might want to come join me.
This is a 3 day Art retreat where I will help and guide you connect with your intuitive creative self. No rules just painting from nature and from the sacred space inside of you. We will be unwinding and using our imagination. Relaxing and getting still. Being in nature and amongst some really old gum trees. My goodness they are stunning.
Did someone say dance ? Yes there will also be times to dance ! I love dancing.
We will be painting to music and also in silence we will be playing around with collage and having fun.
This is a non threatening painting experience and it's for beginners to intermediate painters who just want to learn about how to let go more in their painting style and also for creatives that haven't picked up a paintbrush in a while , but just love creativity.
I will be supplying ALL OF YOUR your art supplies and also dinner on Saturday night whereby we will all be together sharing in the joys of art and just talking.
DATE - october 27 - 29th October 2023
WHERE - Berrara Beach cudmirrah hall.
Times - 11 am Friday meet and greet at cudmirah hall
We will be painting and starting to layer up our canvas on the Friday along with other activities. We will finish around 4pm
Beading and meditation will be involved over the weekend. Simple beading nothing intimidating. Along with collage and creating some free spirited works on paper.
We will also be discovering our animal totems. We may even paint them !
Did I mention Champaign and strawberries ?!
Saturday - painting from 10 - 4pm - Saturday afternoon includes a walk to mermaid pools it's sacred women's place and we will be soaking up all its beauty.
7.30pm on Saturday night will be a complimentary dinner paid for. It would be lovely to share the experiences.
Sunday 10 - 4 pm finish off all of our paintings and you will get to take home all of your goodies for example the paint sets brushes inks and your journal.
I will be supplying you with a set of inks
A large big canvas measuring 120 x 90cm make sure the car you bring can fit this size canvas.
An A3 watercolour note pad to work on paintings on paper
A Clip Board
A collage pack of hand painted papers
Gel Medium -this is really good glue
2 sets of Paintbrushes round and square
An easel to work on
Table and chair within the hall
Water jar
Pallette
Drop sheet
Rags
spray bottle
Scissors
chalk
A set of 48 Acrylic paints
a set of 21 pastel paints
White Postca paint pen
Gold leaf and the glue.
What else is included ?
Dinner on Saturday night at the local venue to be announced. This will either be the Thai restaurant or the bowling club. It's a very Australian beachy township its a step back into the 80s and I love this about Berrara !
Tea / coffee and biscuits will be available within the hall. There is a small walk to a cafe if you love a good coffee.
What Do you bring -
a box to take home all of your paints
An old sheet or blanket for your car when your painting goes into it.
Wear painting clothes or Bring an Apron - because we get messy! Just be comfortable.
An open heart and an open mind and a willingness to play with paint

Be mindful in packing a sun hat sunnies a spray jacket and a light back pack. We will be walking up to mermaids and you just need to think about the weather.
