This artwork has been inspired by Picasso.
Marie-Thérèse Walter was the French lover and model of Pablo Picasso from 1927 to about 1935 and the mother of their daughter Maya Widmaier-Picasso. Their relationship began when she was seventeen years old; he was 45 and still living with his first wife, Olga Khokhlova.
I absolutely love sitting and looking at art books not only do I relax, but I am absolutely lost in my imagination. I mean seriously Picasso, couldn’t you have just been faithful?
I’m struggling with the emotion of this piece. The colours are so happy yet she seems sad. She is happy and sad all at once.
Try to speak your truth , even if you lips quiver.
I love to paint pink and blue together it’s wild and wonderful.
This painting is also about taking risks. Being a risk taker.
